Updates about Karen's Condition - October 1999

• October 4 - 10 - Another routine week of therapy and progress for Karen then a weekend visit from sister Jill. The work on the house is coming along well so it keeps getting easier for Karen to get around and its looking better as well. Your continued prayers are appreciated.
• October 11 - 17 - A busy week in therapy followed by a busy weekend: Karen and her family went out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate Tim's birthday. On Sunday Karen took her first endeavor to visit someone's home -- she and the family went to Tim's mom's house for a family birthday party.
• October 17 - October 31 - Karen is still as busy as she ever was. As always she is working hard and doing great in therapy, she can almost transfer herself from bed to chair but still needs about 25% help. Karen enjoyed dinner at a friend's house last weekend, went out shopping with some neighbor friends this week, and attended a trick-or-treat swim team party this weekend.
