She was slightly raised in her bed but not sitting up yet. Her eyes are
occasionally open but not seeking source of voice. Tim had combed her
hair and was cleaning some of the dried blood from under her nails. If
he hit a tender spot, she would pull away her hand. She explored her
halo frame and her nose tube and the tape holding the tube on the top of
her nose. The tape bothers her. But occasionally she would get a grip
on that halo and try to yank! Tim was right there to pull her hand back
and explain to her that she could gently explore but not pull but I
don't know if she made the connection. She does not like to have her
hand restrained! Or told not to do something. Surprise!
They are still weaning her from her respirator but slowly. Perhaps she
made a wink at me or else she had an itch. Perhaps she made a kiss
mouth or perhaps the tape on her nose holding her tube itched.
For the most part, she was pretty laid back today thanks to better
living through chemistry.
